Responsible Participation
Last updated: January 2026
At KaddyAI, we want forecasting to be fun, engaging, and rewarding. But we recognise that participating in real-money forecasting markets carries genuine financial risk. Your wellbeing matters more than platform revenue.
Important: Participating in forecasting markets involves real money and real risk. You should never play with money you cannot afford to lose. If participation is causing you financial stress, emotional distress, or relationship problems, please seek support. Help is available.
🔮 Understanding the Risk
Forecasting markets are not guaranteed investments. Even well-researched forecasts can be wrong, and losing your entire stake on a market is always possible.
Past performance does not predict future results. A strong track record on previous markets does not guarantee success on future ones.
Market pools are competitive. You are playing against other informed participants. The crowd's collective judgment can be difficult to consistently beat.
KaddyAI's Forecasting Infrastructure Fee is deducted from the losing side. This means the platform always takes a portion — participating repeatedly over time will cost you money on average unless your forecasting accuracy is consistently high.
💰 Spending Responsibly
- Set a personal budget for forecasting before you start, and stick to it — treat it as entertainment spending, not as investment capital.
- Track your spending regularly using the transaction history in your KaddyAI wallet. Awareness is the first step to responsible participation.
- Never chase losses. If you have lost your session budget, stop. Trying to recover losses by placing more plays typically makes the situation worse.
- Do not participate when you are emotionally distressed, impaired, or under the influence of substances.
- Take regular breaks from the Platform. Continuous participation over long periods increases the risk of developing unhealthy habits.
- Consider setting calendar reminders to review your total KaddyAI spending monthly against your budget.
🚨 Warning Signs
Seek help if you recognise any of these warning signs in your participation:
Spending money on forecasting markets that you cannot afford to lose
Hiding your participation or spending from family or friends
Feeling anxious, stressed, or irritable when not participating
Chasing losses — placing more plays to try to recover previous losses
Neglecting work, study, or personal relationships due to participation
Borrowing money or selling possessions to fund your plays
Feeling unable to stop or reduce your participation despite wanting to
Lying about how much time or money you spend on the Platform
🔒 Self-Exclusion Process
